So what the SETA's did is they kidnapped citizens if they thought that there was a possibility that they would extract a large number of a large amount of money from their families for ransom.

So we interviewed a guy who was,

who had been a kidnapped victim and was held in one of these safe houses where at the time

at Kanikon, the guy who attacked a consulate, would keep several kidnapped victims in this house.

And he, if I remember correctly, he went in there into that house and he said there was like

20 other victims in that house. And they would all receive beatings with this.

It looks like an oar, but they designed it specifically for beatings and they cut holes into it,

bunch holes into it so it'll be more aerodynamic.

And they beat these people every single day so that their family members could hear

him going through the pain and say, pay the ransom or else, else you know we're going to eliminate your family member so hey gang welcome back to part two of episode 195 with my good friend Leo Silva.
