My week was good and I am working on a couple of projects all development for myself, you know, some with a producer, some on spec, but one really cool thing that happened last week is I got to get

together with some of the writers that I worked with at the Nosto Screenwriting retreat in Italy, So not all of us. One of the writers is, you know, on set on her

TV show in another country, another writer, you know, not all of us, but it was really nice to see them and just be

reconnected to what that was like to have those three weeks, you know, and it's

always nice to get together with people that you really admire and

respect and it was just really nice and it reminded me how much I need people right

the pandemic did this weird thing where I was like, did I turn into an introvert?

And it's like, absolutely not. The way for me to combat cynicism and all those yucky feelings I have is that I have to go be around people in order to feel hope.

You know, I just can't sit alone in my house all the time. Whether it at Zoom or in person, I just need to make a much more

dedicated effort to get around people that I have fun with

and feel good with and am inspired by,

because otherwise I'm just going to turn into like,

I don't know, something not good, something not me.

So it was a good reminder.

You know, and all of us are doing varying degrees of success and not success and in the process. So it wasn't like, wow, everyone's doing so great. That's what's giving me hope. It was more like we're all working and I just I'm an energy
