All right, everyone, welcome to today's episode. This is episode 190 and the topic of today's

0:07.3

episode is the importance of showing up for others. So this is huge because a lot about what I

0:14.2

talk about in my podcast in general in the last 190 episodes, most of the episodes revolve around your relationship

0:24.0

with yourself and how you need to prioritize yourself, put yourself first, all of the above.

0:30.2

And that is absolutely true. Obviously, I still stand by that. I stand by everything I've spoken

0:34.4

about thus far. However, I really wanted to cover the importance of

0:38.9

showing up for other people because, and I have mentioned this many times, I haven't just brushed over it,

0:43.6

I've gone in depth, but I want to go in depth again because connection with other people is one of

happy, you feel on purpose, you feel accomplished and you feel like there is a meaning to your

life. Okay. When you are completely isolated or when everything is surface level and you feel like there is a meaning to your life, okay? When you are completely isolated or when

1:12.7

everything is surface level and you feel like there's no real connection, that's where you start

1:17.6

feeling detached, flat, unhappy, anxious or depressed or a combination of the above. So I think it's

1:24.4

going to be a really good episode because you're going to realize that there is a lot that you can be doing to show up for other people.

1:30.8

And you're also going to realize that even if you want to look at it from a selfish perspective,

1:35.0

showing up for other people is going to impact your life incredibly.

1:39.8

You gain so much by doing something for somebody else.

1:43.1

So it's just a two-way street here. It is

1:46.0

something that you can implement today. It is something that you should be implementing every

1:50.4

single day and it could actually transform your life because it can transform your sense of

1:55.6

purpose and your overall mood and how you feel about yourself. Okay, before we get into that, I am going to

...
