This is Comic Geeks Speak episode 1906, Peter and Pants' Paper Party. Well, before we get into, I just got some recently, this is a recent addition to my notes here.

So as you know, today is the first full day of Comic-Con out in San Diego.

And I have a couple of real quick, CGS listener shoutouts because my friends, Julian

Shauna Benson, who wrote for background birds of prey and Green Arrow, were actually on a panel today out in Comic-Con.

It was called Superhero in Real Life, Mental Health and Changing the World with Comics.

So they were on the panel and actually called me after the panel, not too long,

to mention among other things,

that they actually have an eight-page story in an upcoming DC comic.

I'm like, oh, what did this happen?

I didn't know about that.

So they have an eight-page story

coming up in Nort's Illustrated SwimSuit Edition, number one.

Through an a paid story with the penguin, all brand new.

So I thought, well, that's cool.

So thankful they have another DC work because I missed their writing terribly.

But after the panel, someone in the crowd come up to him and talk to him, introduce himself

as a CGS listener for way back of episode 50.

This name might be familiar to you, Peter, written Payne, aka John Britton.

Okay.

Yes, he's a vice president of business and legal affairs at Nickelodeon.

Whoa.
