Summary
Dr. Chris Newman is a family physician from London, UK and the founder of the Doctors for Extinction Rebellion Movement. He founded Doctors for XR in April 2019 in frustration at the media coverage of the Extinction Rebellion Protests. The group, which now has close to 500 members, is comprised of physicians who believe it is their duty as doctors to speak out about climate change.
