Labour's former Shadow Chancellor under Jeremy Corbyn and was, I guess, the engine of

much of the transformative domestic agenda of what became known as Corbynism. I should

say, by the way, it's the work for John McDonald between 2005 and 2008, so obviously he's

got a lot to answer for, but I talked to him a few weeks ago and this was not long after

Jeremy Corbyn's suspension and amongst the things I want to talk to him about is it all

over for the left and the Labour Party? Is it game over? What next? What a hope is there?

He did actually have quite a lot of optimistic things to say, but how's keeping first? This
