So you've got a new store called Backlabel Wines.

Mm-hmm, that's right.

But you started singing opera back quite a long time ago. That's right. In

Montreal and how did that all go down? Well I started singing opera in high school really.

You know it goes back even further but you know I and I guess

I didn't discover one until I discovered the restaurant industry a little bit

later through college and by default ended up stumbling into the back of the house in front of the house of a couple of really great spots with awesome programs and

From there it just sort of became opera in line, you know for for many many years you know, until we decided to hang up the opera coat and just pursue and keep going after wine.

So you were in Montreal and then where did you head next?

Boston.

So yeah, I went to McGill University, great music program, gorgeous city,

not a ton of wine up there, right?

But I ended up in Boston at the Conservatory Music and from there, you know know like most people I think in those days or

whatnot now you know you got to get to pay for for those student loans at some

point so I started waiting tables and cooking and you name it.

Any job they'd give me at a variety of different restaurants.

And while I was singing like most servers or cooks,
