This is Fudia's story.

Looking into her brown eyes, you can see she has suffered a lifetime of pain,

having lost both parents by the time she was seven years old and been bullied by the children at school.

Now 10, Fugia on her bowed legs,

her limbs painfully twisted. Her uncle has been to many local hospitals in Sierra Leone,

but no surgeon is qualified to give the treatment she needs. The doctors said, only Mercy Ships

can help her. Thanks to kind people like you, Mercy Ships sailed to Sierra Leone,

and Fujio was given free surgery.

Forever grateful, she wants to share the love and healing she received with the world.

She says, when I'm older, I want to be a doctor,
