de Philipo. Growing up with scarcity and lack of food forces us to focus on survival.

This type of inward thinking largely precludes having the time or energy to look at the big

picture. Today's guest, Navine Jane, while he grew up sometimes not knowing if there would

be food on the table or not, he's thinking both very small and very, very large. Navine

runs a portfolio of businesses being a serial entrepreneur. However, his primary endeavours

these days include looking at our gut biome and the bacteria that live in it and their

ability to cause or prevent disease. However, he's also pushing forward to get us to the

moon. Yeah, I know we've been there, but Navine wants to mine it for resources that are

extremely scarce here on earth because he knows these resources are key to human survival

on planet earth. It sounds a bit like science fiction, which makes sense coming from someone

on the board of both the X prize and singularity university. Today, we'll explore why the highly

curious are the highly motivated and how the ability to shift perspectives quickly trumps
