there has been a bit of a buzz in the last couple of weeks about a recent incident that happened

in the San Francisco Bay area where I guess what had been going on for the last many years

up and down that region was that there were some presiding women,

probably stake leaders, that were invited to sit on the stand with the priesthood,

the male leaders. And evidently, some area authority 70s came in and asked for that

practice to be discontinued, and it caused a little bit of a stir.

And I wanted to address this topic for a variety of reasons. The first reason is because
