attention. This one is tough. It is going to be tough to tell and it will be difficult to hear.

Mika's story is considered one of Calgary's worst child abuse to murder cases. And the investigation to secure justice for this

little girl was a lengthy one. But due to the tenacity of the authorities involved, those

responsible for what happened to Mecca are now spending the rest of their lives behind bars.

November 2011, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Six-year-old Mika Jordan was a bright, cheerful and playful little girl.

When she was rushed to hospital with serious life-threatening injuries,

her father and stepmother told police she had fallen down the stairs,

except her injuries did not match the explanation.

Early on, he became clear to investigators
