I'm Dave Anderson.

It's time for our Friday, two minute warning edition.

Post it on Fridays to give you something to think about, watch for, or to do to finish your week strong and maximize your weekend.

I'll also include an occasional red zone rant, and hey, why not do one today?

Here's my topic.

Clean your car. Listen, if you were being interviewed for a job, if you were trying to make a team,

and members of the management team where the coaching staff went down and looked at the car you had

driven up in, not so much talking about what you drive,

that doesn't matter, or the outside, because you may have gone through a puddle or maybe a bird

had a party on it as he flew by, but you own the inside. What is the inside of that car

say about your standards? Your attention to detail, your gratitude for your possessions, your own

self-respect. Now, listen, you know as well as I do. It's not just about the car. It's about

how you think. Because how you think determines how you act. Would you get the job? Would

you make the team? Or let me just ask you this, would it look like somebody vomited up a rummage sale in the

back seat?

Or are your friends worried about whether or not their shot records or up to date before

they get in that car?

To homeless people bring you money at stop signs because they feel bad for what you're

driving in? Listen, little things matter. They matter a lot
