Hello everybody.

Welcome to the podcast. This is, I believe, episode number 181,

and really it's just a chance for me to explain and clarify some of the vocabulary phrases and expressions that you may

have heard if you've listened to episode 180.

Episode 180 was basically a Skype call with my brother in which I talked to him about his skateboarding

injury that he'd experienced.

He fell off his skateboard and he dislocated his shoulder.

Ouch! So if you listen to all of that, I wonder if you understood it all.

It's not a problem if you didn't understand it all because

ultimately you're trying to learn so you know you have to expose yourself to things

that you don't completely understand because otherwise how are you going to pick up

new language. It helps though doesn't it if you have someone like a teacher maybe me

for example who can point out the things that you don't understand or at least explain

the things and clarify the bits that you're not understanding. Now what I would

love to do is explain absolutely everything in the conversation, all of it.

The conversation was about 45 minutes long, maybe one hour, but what I have, I haven't managed to explain the entire episode. I can't do that.

There isn't time. I'm not Superman. I'm not even Batman, you know? I'm not any of the superheroes I'm just Luke from Luke's English podcast you might

consider that to be a kind of superpower in itself I mean I do have some Jedi skills. What Jedi skills do you have Luke you might
