My name is Taylor Rockwell.

We are recording this at the beginning of September in 2024, which means it's the international window. Everyone's favorite time. Isn't that right, Graham Ruffin? Hello, Taylor. Yes. Are you excited to talk about the most confusing international tournament in the world? Because I know I am. I certainly am. That's right, folks. It's Nations League time. We don't have the Cunky Cap Nations League this time

round. We do have the UAFA Nations League, Graham, which is

something that I think solved a problem and then created a whole host of

other problems simultaneously. Well done Nations League.

Yeah, I mean, the Nations League is, let's just face it, it's a confusing tournament.

It's not the easiest to follow.

But as we will come to in this discussion, I actually think it has a good amount of merit.

I was a real skeptic at the start.

And while I won't say I've been fully won over, there are definitely downsides to this tournament.

I think the International Soccer Calendar is better withides to this tournament. I think the international

soccer calendar is better with it than without it, I think. I would agree. I was very skeptical.

It didn't make a ton of sense to me. It felt like sort of an artificial competition to make

FIFA, UEFA, whomever more money. And it's not, not that. But it does also, I think, incentivize competitive play. It gives

teams more meaningful games against similar caliber of opposition. It allows for opportunities to

qualify for tournaments they might not otherwise be able to make. So I think there are many,

many positives out there. We will get into all of those and some of the

negatives. But Graham, let's start with the basics. What is the Nations League? Specifically,

the UEFA Nation League. So the Nations League is an international competition that has played every two

years. We're largely going to talk about, as you say, there, Taylor, about the UAFA Nationals.
