I don't really do rants, but either way, a couple of things annoyed me today, and I'd like your opinion on them.

On today's podcast, we talk about how there's a surge in interest in electric vehicles.

According to a new study that's been done by, you know, Octopus, they're the big energy

company over here, about how people want to save costs. It's not really about the environment,

although for many it is, and it's not about technology, but for many it is. Most people

want to go EV because it's so much cheaper. And of course they've got, you know, interest in that because I charge at seven pence overnight on my octopus tariff. If you're the last person in the country left not on octopus, then you want to move to them. I have a code just for friends, and I'll put that in the podcast show notes today. Dodge is launching the charger, all-electric muscle car.

Scat Pack has a 670 horsepower output, 3.3 seconds, naught to 60, 70 grand plus price tag,

Fiscar owners are being left to foot the bill for recalls,

which would normally be done in the US for 15 years, according to the regulations in the United States.

They're like $790,000 R&B, and the affluent Chinese buyers are lapping them up. It's a four-seater MPV. It's five and a half

meters long, massive screen in the back, and they're loving it. Kia has been talking about city cars

and high-performance cars. The Kia EV-1 will arrive when battery technology allows, before the end of the decade, they are saying, but they want to properly replace the Kia Picanto, you know, 15 grand price tag.

And battery tech just isn't there to get decent specs.
