What God is patient with us? The patient's thing doesn't get talked about that much, but think about this.

Jesus is on the cross. He doesn't try to convert the two thieves hanging with them.

Until one of them turns toward... Actually humbles himself, yeah.

Yeah, he waits. He waits for us to turn toward him. It's the same thing in the story with the prodigal son.

Like the dad is waiting. And as soon as he knows the son's coming back, he goes running after.

But he doesn't take off before. There's a real patience. He's waiting for us to turn away from ourselves.

And we finally get to that point and start turning toward him.
