And, on October 28th 1997 one of the two men who took their innocence and freedom was finally arrested after committing one of the worst crimes in Australian history. he set out to enact his revenge on the woman he claimed to still love.

Carrie and her 18-year-old pregnant sister Lisa shared an apartment in Terrigal, Australia.

On that night in October, the two sisters were visited by

their father, Thomas Gannon, and a friend, Christopher Gall. At around 9.12 p.m., shots could be heard from

within the apartment. Malcolm used a shotgun to smash the front window. Christopher was the first to be

shot before he moved on to Carrie and Lisa, and finally their father.

When police arrived, they found Thomas dead in the streets, the sisters both dead within the apartment,

and Christopher Gall severely injured suffering from a gunshot wound to the face.
