Thank you to Sybil for bringing William's story to my attention, although I could

basically tell this story from memory.

Like every other Australian, I followed the search for what happened to William very

closely since day one.

I have a little girl around William's age, so I couldn't help but place myself in William's

parents' shoes. But as each layer unfolds in this story, the darker it gets. I am a little

nervous telling this story because there are strong opinions here in Australia. But I'm going

to try to stick to the facts as we

know them at the time of this recording. In early spring 2014, three-year-old William Terrell went

missing from his grandparents' house in Kendall, a seemingly typical Australian regional town on the

mid-coast of New South Wales. William has not been seen since.

And yet, you'd be hard to find someone in Australia who does not recognise his adorable little face.

Light brown hair, wide eyes, and his mouth are gape as if mid-roar, and wearing his favourite

Spider-Man suit. What almost no one knows is what happened to him.

The decade since he disappeared in one of the most prominent missing persons' cases

in modern Australian history seems to be filled with so many twists and turns.
