Hi everybody, this is Joe Lample, the Joe Behind Joe Gardner, and welcome to the Joe

Gardner Show.

Well, today we're back with my good friend, and you're good friend to Craig Lahoyer,

the expert of so many things related to gardening, especially when it comes to tomatoes.

And we have this thing where we catch up every so often, at least once a year, sometimes

more often, and you all have responded so out of that over the years, and it's been

a while since I talked to Craig.

And here we are at the end of the summer growing season.

He's ripped out his straw bill garden with all his tomato plants.

I have done the same thing here.

And so I wanted to catch up with Craig and do sort of that post-mortem assessment.

And this year was particularly unique for Craig, because after 28 years in his garden

in Raleigh, North Carolina, actually his driveway garden, that if you've heard the past

episodes, you're well acquainted with that, he's moved up into the mountains of western

North Carolina, not far from Asheville, North Carolina, where it's lower humidity and

much cooler temperatures, and life is really good in a lot of ways, especially when it

comes to his garden.

So he had a great year, and we talk about that in this episode.
