I hope you're all doing super well. Today we're headed back to beautiful Umbria to delve

into one of the most important local rituals in the region, and that's the olive harvest and the first

press of olive oil. If you've been listening along for a while, you'll know that I think Umbria is one of the

most underrated

regions of Italy. It is a place that's revered throughout the country for some of the most

beautiful hilltop towns, delicious foods and fascinating local festivals. But for some

strange reason, visitors seem to pass it by, with a few exceptions like Assisi. Now we love taking guests to Umbria

on our very special group tours of Italy and to watch their faces when they enjoy the beauty

and local traditions of this land. And of course, we always build in hyper-local experiences like

the Olive Harvest into our group plans as after many, many years of

travelling in Italy, we know that these are the very special moments our guests will cherish
