four steps to productively process disappointment. Facts of Life happen to be that we're always going to have

disappointments. A disappointment really happens when an expectation we have isn't what? It isn't

met. And so disappointment ensues. That's really not the point. We're all going to have it.

It doesn't matter who you are. You're going to have a disappointment and disappointments throughout your life. How will you respond to it? How will you deal with it is what's really

going to make you different and better and help you progress or not versus those that are

using it productively. So we're going to talk about four ways to do it. You know, the fact is you can either process

disappointment productively and use it as an ally, or you can just stay in this disappointment cycle,

which makes you bitter, which can make you angry, it can make you unhappy with yourself and

everybody around you. The fact is if your

mindset is right, though, a disappointment will drive you closer to vital disciplines, to vital

processes, not farther away. Now, if your mindset is not right, disappointment can drive you

farther away from key disciplines and key processes that are going to make you

more successful. It can drive you into blame. It can drive you into excuses. It can drive you into the

victim's mindset. It can drive you into bitterness and anger and all these unproductive things that we go

through. And I don't care which of the four groups you're in. And you know what I'm talking about.
