Joseph Smith's secret education, the Dartmouth connection, those of you who follow

multiple Mormon theme podcasts.

This topic will already be familiar to you because recently on a Mormonism

live podcast episode with Bill Real and Radio Free Mormon.

My dear friend, Dr. Randy Bell came on and shared with us his research and analysis

on a very important set of topics of information about Joseph Smith and his background

to kind of summarize if I may for the longest time the Mormon church has wanted

its members and people who are investigating the church to think of Joseph Smith

as a completely uneducated farm boy who had no capacity whatsoever to produce

anything like the Book of Mormon or Revelation because he was an uneducated farm boy.

And what we know from research is that actually Joseph Smith had ties and connections

to very formal and prestigious and high quality education.

And today we're going to be talking about that Joseph Smith secret education, the Dartmouth connection.

We're going to be talking about how family members of Joseph Smith were connected

to an elite.

Well, would now be considered an Ivy League school Dartmouth College or Dartmouth University

and how there's really good indication that what was taught at Dartmouth,
