Happy Friday, my friends.

It is such a good day to get to be alive.

I'm so thankful to get to be here with you.

We're going to have a special time of unscripted Bible study together on Fridays.

Love to just open up our Bibles and just study and see what God reveals to us.

We're actually going to finish up our study on the book of Ecclesiastes.

That's where we've been this week.

I have loved understanding finally why the book of Ecclesiastes in most ways seems like a total downer that is telling us life is completely meaningless there's no point to this there's there's no point in

working hard there's no point in showing up it's we're all dying like it's kind of a downer

and i never understood like, why is this

included in our Bible? What is this trying to tell us? And then I kind of started digging into the

book of Ecclesiastes. And I understand now that God is showing us how Solomon, the wisest man to ever live, the man who prayed and asked God

for wisdom and it pleased God so much that he gave him so much wisdom and knowledge, that

he eventually fell away from God and he lost his way.

And yet God included this in our Bible.

And I think there's the sweetest lesson in this.

Of course, we've learned about that you cannot find meaning and fulfillment in life

through more knowledge and wisdom and

understanding everything because you can't understand it all. We figured out that you cannot find

meaning and fulfillment in life from pleasure and joy and fun and happiness and excitement
