Yo, today's QOTS. You are responsible for the energy you bring into this room. Here we go

0:30.3

Welcome back to the quarter of the day show I'm your host Sean Croxton, a Sean Croxton.com. We

0:37.9

got Brunei Brown back on the QOD stage and today she is going to share three strategies that

0:44.8

you can use today. So you can stay calm, remain emotionally intelligent and take responsibility for

0:52.3

your energy when things get uncertain and situations get anxious. Brunei Brown's coming up.

1:00.9

So first step is who we are. Second step is about cultivating calm and stillness.

1:06.6

So one of the things I learned in the research is that calm people share things in common

1:14.8

and they share actionable strategies in common. I think there are probably some temperaments

unit next month. They're laying off everybody in the unit. Here's what calm people do.

2:08.4

They breathe. The one minute they breathe it feels like an hour to me but just that

2:28.6

it's very likely that person does well I don't know exactly what's happening

2:32.0

but what if that happened? Wouldn't that be a nightmare? So they breathe. The second thing they do

2:42.5

is they always come back to anxiety provoking information with questions. It's amazing. I mean this

2:51.7

was like I saw it in the first couple of people who were really calm then I saw it in the next 10

2:56.8

people and then the following 100 people. John know people who can just walk into a room and

3:02.0

bring calm and perspective without even sometimes saying a word. Yeah my husband's built like that
