And hopefully we're not sounding too tired this week, still getting over my sugar hangover from getting through about four Easter eggs and a box of cream eggs last weekend. I just wait for them to go cheap and then buy them on mass. That's the way to do it. That is so Ravi. That is so Ravi. Now, welcome to this week's podcast. Now, we do need to get a bit of energy up because, my God,

have we got a busy couple of months coming up?

Summer's here, So that means retro gaming events. Oh, yes, events. Not across the country, across the world this time. Retro hour goes international. Now, already this year we've done, well, we started the year on Ireland, didn't we? With a With Amiga Island, of course, we are going to be back at Play Expo doing Manchester on the first Maybank holiday weekend. So we're getting all our talks and panels ready for that. I'm going to be at Pixel Heaven in Poland in a couple of weeks time as well next month in May. And also, we are going to be hosting a couple of panels at a huge event that's going to be happening in Norway in June.

Yes, we'll be going to Retro Spill Mess in 2019.

So all our Scandinavian listeners come along.

Now, this is going to be happening on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of June 2019 in

Sandy Fuhr in Norway. I hope I pronounced that right. I did a little pronunciation test on YouTube before, so it's probably completely got it wrong. Sandifud, I think we'd say in British, wouldn't we? In British English. But this is going to be happening right in the middle of summer, you know, end of June. And this is, I mean, we've tracked to the organisers. You know, they invited us out there for

the weekend. We're going to be doing a few panels out there too. And this is a really family-focused event, isn't it? Celebrating, like, video games and geek culture in general? Yeah, totally. And, you know, it's the biggest Scandinavian event. And we're going to have David Wise of Raff there. You know, he's going to be doing some performances as well.

So we'll be able to hear some amazing tunes. There's also Kev Baylis, who, you know, did Banjo Cazooey, did Battletoads, all of those fantastic games, and of course, DJ Slopes as well. So this is going to be a right laugh. Yeah, all the crew are going to be out there.

So we're heading over to Norway at the end of June. You know, like I was said before, it's a great one to bring the family along to as well. I mean, there's also gaming and comics and that kind of stuff too. It's going to be gaming tournaments there as well. They're actually going to be having the NeoGeo World Tour Season 2 there. So you can qualify for the global finaler in like stuff like Kings of Fighters, 98.
