Well, good morning, beautiful. Welcome to a brand new day of life and a brand new week of life.

Happy Monday, my friends. It is the first Monday of August 2024. You have never seen a day of life like this before.

You've never lived a week of life like this before. It's all brand new. God has already gone before you, my friend.

He has aligned blessings and provision and strength and energy and opportunities and open doors,

answers, wisdom. He's got, he's aligned it all for you. So step into it with faith today, my friend.

All right. The title of today's episode of the Big Life Devotional podcast is, I'm so thirsty.

An encounter with Jesus is no accident. He makes it his intention to meet with his

chosen girls. It's why you're listening today. He has intentionally moved toward you

to give you what you most need. What is it you need today?

What have you come here seeking? He's here to meet your needs and fill you to overflowing.

You will not leave this encounter with him without receiving what you are seeking. He promises seek and you will find.

Our problem comes when busyness and overwhelm, our distraction, our frustration, and our desire to

gain control causes us to stop seeking. When we are not seeking,

well, then it's really hard to find. When we are not listening, it's hard for us to hear. When we are

not asking, it's hard for us to receive.

Jesus wants us to come to him with a thirst for more.

My friend, are you really thirsty for more?

Or are you settled where you are,

what you know, and what you feel comfortable doing.
