Welcome back to the Morning Mindset Edition of the LiveBuild Change Podcast.

My name is Carrie Green, I'm a retired pastor and a fellow Christ follower,

0:10.4

and I've just come to understand that every morning we have to do the work.

0:15.0

It is work necessary to get our minds right because as we sleep our minds kind of

0:21.0

default back to this sinful pattern that we've lived in our

0:24.0

entire lifetime. But after becoming a believer in Christ, we now have a new mind, we

1:18.9

She could have concluded God was

1:25.0

unhappy with her and is trying to point it out to her.

1:30.0

She could have concluded that God just hates her and doesn't want her to have a happy life.

1:37.0

And you see, she could have concluded also what I hear sometimes in people, particularly on social media,

1:43.3

people who bemoan their situation all the time, I mean constantly.

1:48.4

She could have let that experience confirm to her a possibly already existing limiting belief that she is just not the kind of person who receives good things in life.

2:04.2

There are people out there who believe that way.

2:05.6

They believe they are not the kind of person, like there's something in their DNA or

2:10.5

their psyche that just attracts bad things to them.
