Hi everybody, this is Joe Lample, the Joe Behind Joe Gardner, and welcome to the Joe

Gardner Show.

I'm on sabbatical this month of August, but during this time, we're still producing

new podcast episodes along with re-broadcast from some of our most popular and timely shows

from our back catalog.

And this week, I thought it was the perfect time to reprise a podcast episode from a couple

summers back, recorded right about the same time, to address the abundance of vegetables

that Gardners are now or will soon be dealing with, pertaining to that all-important question

of what to do with the surplus.

And for those of you who aren't growing any edibles right now, stay with me here because

this information can still apply to you.

If you love garden fresh produce, you can still access that at farmer's markets, and oftentimes

find great deals on what they have, in which case you can take that home and do the same

things that we'll talk about today.

Now for me here in Atlanta, Georgia, that's zone seven B. It's literally hard to keep

up with all that I'm harvesting from my garden right now here in this first week of August.

And granted, I do have a large racebed garden.
