Good morning my friends are you ready to be an instrument that God can use today.

0:09.0

Whether it's in your family, in your workplace, in your community, God wants to use you as the means of his power

0:17.4

and blessing and truth.

0:20.1

In the lives of other people, he wants to use you in that way and you can be used.

0:25.1

We've been talking the last few days about limiting beliefs.

0:28.8

In one of the ways we sometimes have a limiting belief is this sense of I guess you would call it

0:34.9

self-esteem that says to us God can't use me. God couldn't ever use a person like me. I'm too weak, I'm too sinful, I'm a failure in this or that, and we have a laundry list of reasons why we believe God can help us, God cannot use us. But one of the things I want you to

0:58.4

recognize is that that is a limiting belief. It's limiting yourself in the sense that it's limiting your capacity to receive

1:39.4

But as we are able to jettison limiting beliefs and begin accepting the truth, the fact, the reality, that

1:48.0

God by His Holy Spirit has redeemed us and that our failures and sins and limitations no longer define us,

1:57.6

then we are able to start living, acting, moving in a direction of faith,

2:06.4

believing that God actually can do more

2:10.6

than we've thought him to be able to do with our life previously.

2:15.0

Now where do these limiting beliefs come from?

2:18.0

Well, typically, they come from a number of places, but some of the most common,

2:22.0

are from experiences we've had growing up

2:26.0

we've seen the world only through the lens of our experience that's very

2:30.3

natural and so the conclusions we make about the things we experience

2:36.4

become our beliefs. They become our belief system. We receive our beliefs, limiting beliefs, also sometimes from parents, not intentionally,
