It is an amazing talk. I was listening to it in my car a couple of weeks ago,

and I'm just literally cheering as I'm listening to it. So check out the whole thing.

But this clip really resonated with me because so often people will say to me,

Sean, I want to do what you do. I want to work from home. I want to have lots of free time.

I want to get paid to create content and put it on the internet.

I want to get paid to create courses or to do book clubs or whatever it might be.

And I will tell them, like, yo, I've been doing this for a long time.

I started in 2007, creating YouTube content. I started the podcast, wrote an e-book,

written thousands of newsletters by now. Like, there's a lot of work and a lot of years that went into this.

And I will watch these individuals go and try to skip the steps.

I'll be like, hey, what are you doing to build that business? Oh, I hired an agency.

Okay, what is the agency doing? Oh, they're going to help me create a course

and to build a sales page and do a Facebook marketing, Facebook ad campaign.

That's going to sell my course and I go, well, what about building an audience?

Who are you going to sell this course to? How do you even know that the course is good?

You've never taught it before. Like, I don't understand how people continue to waste their money trying to skip the steps.

As I've said so many times, if you want to be successful, you got to go out there and serve people with a high quality service or product.
