I was excited to get to Bogota I really wanted to go to Bogota and I was blessed again in my career to get that assignment and of course you go in there and there's

teams there's rivalries going on which I thought was kind of funny which I'm

sure you were aware of you had the Mediene group and you had the Calli group and now things had shifted when I come in they had shifted from your time right and your

Incredible success of getting Pablo and all of that and now it's on to the Cali cartel.

So the remnants of the Medell investigations, they're still ongoing, right?

There's just because you're killing Pablo was one of the greatest events in our history of DEA, the investigations don't stop.

Right, right? So there's the Medi-In group still cleaning up and then we come in and Chris Feistel and Dave Mitchell had be and Jerry Salome and Tim

Ormick just an array of just incredible people that studs who had all been there, you know, and I came in and so we were in the

process now. I step in and here we are we're trying to hunt down the

communications director of the Cali cartel. There's still major Cali cartel players to be grabbed and stuff. And so we're going back and forth from Cali. We're going on on Sunday. We're flying out and then we're staying until Thursday or Friday

and then flying back in the weekend, Friday, Saturday,

Sunday, back in Bogota.

So because we couldn't, when I first got there,

we couldn't stay there.

There was still way too much heat
