I do let myself start thinking about earlier in the year. Honestly, some of this I think about

when I'm planning my garden in January, and that is homemade gifts inspired by what I grow in my garden.

There are lots of reasons that I have embraced this type of gift giving more and more each year. But I think

one thing that we're going to realize this season is that we are in a place mentally with

everything we've gone through this year to find delight in places we may not have found

delight before. And for some of us that may be working with our hands and getting creative

and figuring out ways to be able to give gifts that we have either made or harvested or

anything that's more of a homemade personal gift. And because I've done this for several years

on and often trying different things, I thought this would be the perfect year to share with you some of my favorite homemade gifts from the garden. This episode is going to be packed full of ideas, and my hope is to inspire you to do some

homemade gift giving this year. Now, if there are particular recipes or something that I

specifically mention, I'm definitely going to be putting those in the show notes and in the blog

post that accompanies this episode. But some of these things, I don't have a particular recipe,

or maybe the recipe came from a book. Of course, I'll link those books in the show notes that I might refer to, but I want you to take this

as inspiration, a jumping off point.
