Natalie Gold Pepper has been in roles throughout her life that involved teaching and helping people, starting with the federal government and the Department of Housing and Urban Development, ultimately ending up in personnel. She then moved into the more intense role of stay-at-home mother and active community volunteer. When her children

got older, she began working in a variety of small companies. She found her real love was working

with people to help them find jobs and career satisfaction. This led her to a position with the then-new

Highlands Company, an organization designed to help clients learn their natural abilities and how to use that

information to consider educational and career choices. That was 21 years ago. In that time,

she's done sales, led programs, advised individual clients and groups, and trained over 200

independent consultants to offer the ability battery to their own clients. It's been a great

experience.

Natalie, that's a summary of your career.

Tell us what you're up to now that has you engaged.

Well, I'm having a wonderful life right now.

I am semi-retired, which means I still work a lot, but mostly in the area of talking to new consultants,

helping them learn about the process, occasionally working with clients. And then in my free time, I also doing some volunteer tutoring in an

elementary school with children who are just starting to learn to read. I'm an avid reader,

and I feel very strongly that everyone should be able to read.
