You hear it in terms of the bad old days.

There are plenty of stories of it rearing its ugly head in the 1970s and 1980s, but certainly recently and still today.

Be it club or international, hooligan groups maintain a presence in global soccer.

But how did it first come to be?

Why does it remain?

Where is it most prominence?

Those questions and many more answered.
