Hello, almost birthday girl.

Uh-oh. This is it. This is my last day of being 27. Oh my goodness.

Yeah, by the time this comes out, Ariel's birthday will be long past, but as of this recording,

it is tomorrow. So later in this episode, Ariel's going to be opening a present from me.

Yay! Everybody get excited!

But we'll start out with our regular kind of shabang.

But before we get going, there were a couple of just housekeeping things off the top that I wanted to mention.

So first of all, we had our Flight of the Albatross giveaway recently, where we had three copies of Albatross to give away.

And that ended last week, and the winners were picked.

The books were sent out.

So congratulations to Olivia, Emily, and Svanhilder for winning the three copies that we had.

And everybody was so quick to get me their addresses.

So I sent them out right away.

It was a real, real successful giveaway situation. So I appreciate everyone's speed. Yes, thank you. Yes, so that was the first thing,

but the second little announcement is that we have another book club poll that will have just come out yesterday as of the time this recording comes out. So it came out a day early for, you know, patrons.

So let's go through that list. So this time we decided to do a, another theme. And the theme that

we did this time was nonfiction. Love it. Because we always forget that we love nonfiction.

And so I feel like that's a problem for lots of people

don't listen to the podcast. Like there's so many great nonfiction books out there. Obviously,

we love memoirs. So there's going to be some memoirs on our list. But we thought that we would do

nonfiction this time around. And we'll see what wins. But I'm pretty excited about all of our
