It's always one man's view of the changing world, the changing times, and the things we

can all do to live a better life if times get tough or even if they don't.

Today is Monday, January the 17th, 2022, we are back with another week of content for

you guys.

Today we're going to talk about Muscovy Ducks, the marvelous Muscovy, as I call them.

I'm actually doing a show today called 16 Reasons Why Muscovy Ducks are the perfect

homesteading bird, and the way I'll sum it up is I don't necessarily think that means

that they're the right thing for everyone.

But I think they are the right bird for the most people based on what I constantly hear

that people really are looking for when they ask me about getting into chickens or ducks

or quails or anything, because I constantly hear from people that say that what they want

is eggs and meat, eggs and meat, and I mean sure production volume and able to hide

in plain sight, it's hard to be quail, but you are kind of an engaging rack system.

When people say they want to have animals that are really in kind of that homestead environment,

that they free range, at least part of the day, they want to be able to control their

animals, they want to get product of both egg and meat from the animal, they want ease

of care, they want an animal that they can reproduce without having to rely on a hatchery

etc.
