Welcome back to the QODS! Show I'm your host Sean Crox and a Sean Croxin.com.

Today we've got one of my favorite movie speeches of all time,

if not my favorite movie speech ever.

And it's by Rocky Balboa and it's from the movie Rocky Balboa,

which would be like Rocky number six, I believe.

And I want to play it today because we're almost through January.

And a lot of us had high hopes and aspirations for 2023.

And usually by this time of the month, those aspirations were starting to doubt them.

We're starting to say to ourselves, wow, January was no different than any other month of my life.

Like, why am I not doing the things?

What's up with these obstacles? Are these obstacles insurmountable?

Do I not have what it takes?

And sometimes we need a little talking to.

And for me, like when there's nobody around and nobody to talk to,

this is one of those clips that I pull up.

And it's really about reality.

And there's so much wisdom in this very short clip.

And whenever I listen to it, it tends to reset me so I can go,

okay, these are the rules.
