Hello, who the dach? How are you? Yeah, I'm good. Yeah.

It's matching. It's great to have you here. So for those watching this is an ongoing thing that we'll be doing from now on.

I'm going to be trying to get voices from Europe and basically anywhere that isn't kind of the Anglo-Sphere in America

onto Maureen's Stories podcast to share experiences of members outside of that kind of sphere of influence

and that's a geographic area. So today I'm very excited because Netherlands is so much quite close to my heart

and so I'm always excited to talk about it. But Christina, what do you introduce yourself? Say hello.

Hi, well I'm Christina as you've heard I'm from the Netherlands. I'm currently 18 years old.

A former Mormon I stepped out of the church about a year ago. I am from a family that was that's very

with devout in the church still. Third generation on my dad's side. Second generation on my mom's side.

And yeah, I'm currently in university studying musicology and very interested in music.

And yeah, today I'll be telling my story about my faith crisis and all of all of that jazz.

So I'm supposed to parents dutch. They both from Netherlands.

Oh, well my dad is actually my dad is dutch but my mom is Spanish. So I'm half dutch, half Spanish.

Okay, so this is like extra European. Extra European.

Just Dutch. This is like two servings in one go. Okay, so they're multi-generational.

Is that quite common in Netherlands for men to the church?

Well, I think it really started going in the 50s as far as I know, like the Dutch church.
