I like this naturalistic approach we're doing now. This is good.

It's like where we forget that we're just like sitting here with microphones and we just recorded for two hours and got some great content on A-Fib.

But, Paw, why don't you tell the audience what the show is about?

Sure, I mean it may feel like they just walked into a conversation between friends, but really this is an internal medicine, maybe the internal medicine podcast.

And we use expert interviews to bring you clinical pearls and practice changing knowledge.

We do like to get to know our guests a little bit upfront. Our guests are uniformly interesting, nae fascinating people.

So if you just get past that, I mean sort of tacitly insulting them and really by extension us. So just listen.

And Stuart's not here, Paw, but Cyrus the younger, the great Cyrus Askin is with us here and he's going to tell them what the show is about, right, Cyrus?

So really we had an absolutely enlightening, fantastic discussion with Dr. Jim Ferguson about atrial fibrillation.

We talked about a lot of the high points from kind of initial approach to diagnosis a little bit about counseling.

And then we rolled into treatment options talked about ablation talked about a cardio version and then try to get to some of our excellent listener questions.

So really just a jam packed awesome episodes super high yield definitely had a great time talking to Dr. Ferguson.

I totally agree. So Dr. Jim Ferguson MD is a cardiologist from San Antonio, Texas.

He has served as an attending cardiologist cardiology fellowship faculty member and former program director while serving in an academic program all over the last 20 years.

His clinical interests are in general cardiology preventive cardiology and cardiovascular imaging.
