and today we discuss his epic piece in this newest Atlantic.

The Golden Age of American Jews is ending.

Yikes, it's a scary piece for us of Jews.

We've seen anti-Semitism on the right from Nazis marching in

Skokie in 1977. That was a famous Supreme Court case. American Nazis marched in Skokie,

Illinois, home to many Holocaust survivors. The ACLU famously fought in court for their right, the Nazis right, to march there,

and, you know, First Amendment. Charlottesville, of course, in 2017. By the way, the one in Skokie

was very peaceful, very peaceful, not so in Charlottesville, neo-Nazis and Klansmen and your garden variety right-wing

assholes, March chanting Jews will not replace us. And of course, that turned violent. And

Trump, of course, said there were good people on both sides. That's your garden variety, right-wing anti-Semitism. And now anti-Semitism on the left

is raising its ugly head. And Frank writes about that. And it threatens this golden age for American

Jews, which really started post-World War II in the wake of the Holocaust and the birth of Israel,

and which I was the beneficiary of the Golden Age of American Jews.

I was a beneficiary of that growing up in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

My family were, I guess we were lower middle class

or something like that, but I felt like the luckiest kid in the world because I was. I grew up

in a suburb of Minneapolis, St. Louis Park, which was called St. Jewish Park, because it was

20% Jewish. And in Minnesota, that's a lot of Jews.

At the time in Minnesota, any Jews was a lot of Jews.
