| 0:00.0 | Yo today's QOD is I will not be part of that equation |
| 0:05.3 | here we go |
| 0:28.6 | Welcome back to the quote of the day show. I'm your host, Sean Crox and the Sean Crox |
| 0:36.0 | and dot com. We got Dr. George Fraser back on the show. And as always, Dr. Fraser is going |
| 0:42.8 | to speak some truth and share some very real talk for Black America. Talk about some |
| 0:50.2 | things that we really need to hear in a way that doesn't paint us as victims as most of |
| 0:56.9 | our quote unquote, Black leaders do. And he's going to talk about the importance of us having |
| 1:03.7 | money and how money is one of the things that helps us to make change in the world and in our |
| 1:09.1 | community. He's going to talk about having each other working with each other, networking with |
| 1:15.4 | each other. And he's also going to talk about remembering who we really are. And I know that some |
| 1:20.7 | of this real talk can offend some people like, oh, shouldn't be saying that. But if you're going |
| 1:26.6 | to be offended, be offended by the thing that offended me the most about this talk. And what |
| 1:32.2 | offended me the most about this talk as I watched it is George Fraser is speaking in a room for |
| 1:38.1 | the Black people. And toward the end of the clip, when he's talking about all these terrible |
| 1:43.8 | statistics, they're laughing. I don't find anything funny about this. Like nothing. And so we need |
| 1:52.3 | to get our stuff together, stop painting ourselves as victims and go out there and take control of |
| 1:59.7 | our lives, of our money, of our family, of our businesses. George Fraser is coming up. |
| 2:09.3 | I never give a talk without grounding it in a couple of passages I call them, my pillars |
| 2:16.9 | from the Bible. We are spiritual people. We are the most morally grounded and spiritually rooted |
| 2:25.2 | people in America. We're going to put a pin in that and I'm going to demonstrate to you |
| 2:30.4 | why that is profoundly true. And so I want to give you a couple of passages from which I will |
| 2:39.6 | ground my talk. The first is Proverbs 27 21. The crucible is for silver. |
