Hey everybody, Mike here. Hope you're doing well. Summer's wrapping up in Ohio anyway.

School starts in mid-August, which I think is unholy, definitely unbiblical and unhelpful. We just returned from a couple of weeks on vacation and you know

so grateful to be back home but but so great to see so many people in what for us was home for 20 years.

So thank you for all of those of you who contribute on Patreon. I feel like I always have to say this because this is our livelihood

at least a significant part of it and for those of you who support us that way it's very

meaningful absolutely there'll be another

revelation podcast later this week out. I'm behind because of vacation but I've got one

cooking that I hope will of whatever algorithm is used it keeps us sort of at the forefront of attention by iTunes

and so it means a lot it's encouraging but it also helps people find the podcast.

And so we're very, very grateful for all of those things.

There have been a couple of really high profile things that have happened the last week or two involving a couple of men that I have

admired for quite some time.

One of them is named Bill Heibels. He was the founder of Willow Creek Community Church and the founder of something called the Willow Creek Association.

And Willow, Willow Creek has been one of the most

influential churches and Bill Hyables has been one of the most

influential leaders in the evangelical movement for years now.

And the last several months it's been coming out that

there have been very courageous women who've been coming forward with stories of inappropriate

touching and inappropriate acting and behaving and you know initially Bill's response was you know no this never happened

and and people were colluding against him and all sorts of things and then you know recently is more and more of these women have come forward I think

it's up to 10 now there's just the realization that no you can deny it all you want, but there's something

obviously happened. I don't know that we'll know Bill's side of it adequately, but certainly the women have brought forward very credible stories and with nothing to gain that you know put Bill's denials in sharp perspective.
