Summary

This week we’re talking about the complex serial killer, Gary Evans, who happened to work out with The Son of Sam who gave him the fitting nickname, "The Tricep King". A girl named Joanne dated Gary on and off for over 8 years.. She gives some insight into his personality.. "He was like a 10 year old, subsisting on gallons of milk, boxes of cocoa puffs and chocolate chip cookies.."5'6" built like a tank. He was also known to skateboard and jump on the trampoline with his nephew. He was known to them as quiet, gentle and caring.. He liked to draw mountains, write poems about freedom, the stars, and love…I mean…if the guy didn’t kill five people we’d swipe right.   storyworth.com/creeper   simplisafe.com/creeper   riverhillcreative.Etsy.com and @riverhillcreative on Instagram *Code: CREEPER   OhMyGaia.com      EVERYTHING TRUE CRIME GUYS:   https://linktr.ee/Truecrimeguysproductions   Patreon.com/truecrimeguys Merch: truecrimeguys.threadless.com   OhMyGaia.com Facebook Twitter/Instagram: @TrueCrimeGuys @AndImMichael @sandupodcast STICKERS CREEPER MERCH     Sources:   Book: "Every Move You Make" by M. Hello, welcome back to True Crime Guys Podcast. I'm Lauren.

0:24.6

We got a really fun case this week, a under-told story here. This guy kind of slips through the cracks. I'm not sure why.

0:34.5

Because he's fascinating. There's a lot of things about this guy that just kind of make him interesting to me.

0:40.5

Really, this will probably be the funnest serial killer episode we've done in a while.

0:44.9

That sounds weird. It really does sound weird to say that. And I'm really surprised he's not covered more.

0:50.5

And I guess because his crimes aren't so brutal, right? They're not so disturbing. Whoa, they're not...

0:58.0

He kills the way that the mob kills. A couple shots to the back of the head when you don't expect it.

1:03.0

Type of murders. Not that...

1:05.0

Not that we're taking anything away from the victims. It's horrible, it's tragic.

1:10.0

Absolutely. But it's easier to consume.

1:12.1

Yeah, this is not the Chicago Ripper crew.

1:14.6

No, no one's brutal.

1:17.5

It must be immutilated while they're alive or anything like that.

1:20.0

This guy kind of has...

1:21.0

But he's also a thief. His thievery crimes are also entertaining.

1:24.0

And he's an entertaining dude in general. He's pretty much a bad crew. He gets caught non-stop.

1:29.0

Oh, yeah, but that doesn't deter him at all. That doesn't deter him at all.

1:32.0

No, and then there was a certain level of taunting the police that we get into.

1:37.0

I don't know, this guy's bizarre.

1:40.5

And when it came to conflicts in his life, he kind of had a Karl Pan's RAM approach.

1:44.5

You know, it was just like, might makes right.

1:46.5

Nippin' on the butt. Fuck this guy. I'm gonna off him so it doesn't cause me any problems in the future.
