Okay, so imagine having your awakening at 20, 21 years old. Like, I don't know about you,

but I think that's pretty cool because I could have saved myself 20 plus years of heartache

and headache and stupidity, quite frankly. And I think that's what this guest today is going to give

us a perspective on. Lucas, how do I say your last name? So I often say the American pronunciation because people can't pronounce it, but you're my Ecuadorian

brothers. That's right. It's salame. Salame. Yeah, yeah. So your family's from Ecuador. Yeah,

both parents. So you have an interesting story. I know that your dad, like, made it big, like, I don't

know how Wall Street or something yeah but

you are the exact opposite of me where I came up with no money no dad no nothing

you came up with I'm assuming whatever you needed basically yes yes everything I

needed but but the love I needed okay now we're talking yeah so take me back

because I bet that there's going to be a lot of people that can resonate

with this.

Like first start with what did it feel like growing up as a kid to have whatever you had?

Yeah, it's an interesting place to start.

I'm very open with it.

A lot of people in my space will feel ashamed or weird about it, but it's my

story, it's my truth. I'll be as open as I possibly can. Yeah. I think I learned the young age,

thankfully, the incorrect equation that once I have money, then I'll be happy, then I'll be sexy. I'll

feel all these things, right? That's the common illusion we have in America. Thankfully, I experienced a young age that it was amazing to have it.

I'm very grateful my dad, worked his ass off and had the American dream from Ecuador to accomplish

that. But I can confirm, you know, two kids he had who were suicidal. My sister had bad eating disorder.

I was a drug addict. My mom had various mental health issues. So the money didn't solve any of that. There was a,
