Hello and welcome to Bible Stories.

Thank you for joining us as we continue our Easter Devotional series as we follow the

actions of Jesus each day of the Passion Week.

Today we'll be walking with Jesus through the Wednesday before Easter.

Jesus continues his daily teaching in the temple complex.

Luke 21, 37 through 38.

Every day Jesus went to the temple to teach, and each evening he returned to spend the

night on the Mount of Olives.

The crowds gathered at the temple early each morning to hear him.

The Sanhedron plot to kill Jesus, Matthew 26, verses 3 through 5.

At that same time, the leading priests and elders were meeting at the residents of

Caiaphas, the High Priest, plotting how to capture Jesus secretly and kill him, but not during

the Passover celebration they agreed, where the people may riot.

Let's pray together.

And by the way, we thank you for Jesus' heart for us, for me.

We thank you God that he continued to teach and continued his ministry, leading to the

cross, knowing that each day people were plotting to kill him, pray Father that you would

help me to be as consistent in my daily walk, God that you would give me a courage to carry

out the things that you've planned out for me, help me God to move forward even when things

are difficult.

Help me, Father, not to be distracted by the possibilities of danger or the unknown.

I pray, Father, that I would have the courage of Jesus, the compassion of Jesus, the love
