Welcome back to the 10th episode in our top 40 career series.

I can't believe it's been 10 episodes where we are coming to the end and traditionally when you get to the top of a list, you'll

often see a pause for the honorable mentions, right?

Like before we get, before we get to number one on our countdown on this week's watch mojo greatest

basketball players ever here are the honorable mentions that we thought about but

didn't include in the list well we started, Cody, what it feels like about five months ago, with the

honorable mentions and the reason we did that was twofold. One, the honorableorable Mentiones bleed into the top 40 because of the spirit of how I like to talk about ranges of value.

So a lot of guys outside the top 40 could have easily cracked the top 40 and two we wanted to start with a focus

on the spirit of the list itself this update which was the modern players to see which of the

current modern players in the last few years had amassed enough value.

You really just wanted to see if Janasada de Kupo was able to make it.

He's not quite there as we discussed, but he's coming as long as he stays healthy.

So we already did kind of this traditional like

honorable mention to start the series.

But at some point I wanted to address the big names that aren't on this list

both five years ago and now and names that traditionally pop up on other lists.

So that's what we're going to talk about today.

We're going to talk about the kind of philosophical divide, not in ranking players necessarily, but in evaluating some of these players, some of these big

scores like Alan Iverson, who will talk about in some detail I imagine in the next few minutes.

Dominique Wilkins, Carmelo Anthony,

and maybe a few other players.
