I am here today with Gretchen Bonadoochae, the absolute best reality show of the mid-2000s.

I don't know about you guys, but I was riveted, glued to my screen watching the two seasons

of Breaking Bonadoochae when it was on, because it was raw, it was real, and as you're going

to hear today in Gretchen's interview, it was truly a look into what was going on in

a household with very little filtering or whitewashing of the reality of a pretty dysfunctional

situation.

And I think Gretchen's bravery and Danny Bottedochae's bravery in putting that show out there for

the world to see was a good teaching tool for a lot of people who are battling addiction

or living with a person who is battling addiction, and it was just something really different

for its time.

Now, we've seen a lot of shows like The Sincs Thin and we've seen some more polished and

some less polished as those of you who are watching Love After Lockup with me are witnessing

first hand, but I feel like reality TV is really moving back to the genre, moving away

from possibly the overly produced housewives and bravo-esque types of shows and into the

grittier subjects and grittier reality, truly reality, that things like Breaking Bonadoochae

did for us.

So before we get to Gretchen's interview, let me just tell you a little bit about what
