Hi everyone, welcome to Pink Shade with Aaron Martin, the podcast where we talk about all

0:14.6

the shows we are addicted to, plus the reality stars we love even when we're giving them

0:20.1

the side eye.

0:21.7

I am here today with Gretchen Bonadoochae, the absolute best reality show of the mid-2000s.

0:33.2

I don't know about you guys, but I was riveted, glued to my screen watching the two seasons

0:39.1

0:52.7

a household with very little filtering or whitewashing of the reality of a pretty dysfunctional

1:02.2

1:28.4

some less polished as those of you who are watching Love After Lockup with me are witnessing

1:35.6

first hand, but I feel like reality TV is really moving back to the genre, moving away

1:44.2

from possibly the overly produced housewives and bravo-esque types of shows and into the

1:53.3

grittier subjects and grittier reality, truly reality, that things like Breaking Bonadoochae

2:01.4

did for us.

2:02.9

So before we get to Gretchen's interview, let me just tell you a little bit about what

2:06.9

she shares with us.

2:08.0

She talks about, of course, her reality TV time.
