Welcome on Monday edition of the pod gotta finish out the 1560 mailbag edition for the east

last pod of the week with the Thanksgiving holiday upon us and let's get right to it with the

Indiana Pacers. As of this recording the Pacers are 10 and 6, 3 and 3 since last time we did this

9th and net rating at plus 4.2 19th in offense third in defense and 538 projects them to win 46

games would put them 5th in the Eastern Conference. Third in the 4th we get into the question.

Defense where the hell did that come from? I still don't know. That'll be if it continues for

another two weeks I think that will be the focus of our of at least I'll do some research on that

because I've been as you know I've been very skeptical of their defense for the last two years

so I want to really dig into that. Yeah and when I think we thought that with Paul George no longer

on the team that they're really gonna fall apart and that has not really been the case for me.

I think one thing they've really improved a lot to any is their defensive rebounding. They were a

terrible defensive rebounding group a year ago they're up to 10th in defense of rebounding.

The biggest thing they're doing is turning teams over and there's just a syschial analysis obviously

and you know I think that he is young is a criminally underrated defensive player I thought that

for a long time but and when you look at the defensive option that this team has at the three you

think like man and you know obviously call us in his not greedy I think Corey Joseph has been

an underrated part of that and they have some pretty good defensive play and maybe we'll have to

start talking about Miles Turner potentially taking a step forward defensively but again I haven't

looked at that at that closely at this point but yeah so after that reaction they're projected

for 46 wins uh where did you want to go to start with for these guys? Well we should talk a

little bit about Victor Oledipo he left the Hawks game early due to knee soreness and he just

hasn't really looked like himself over the last little bit I think it's good to to give him some
