0:20.2	Welcome to the Daily Blade. This week, we are going to do a deep dive on
0:23.9	John chapter four, the woman at the well. We'll pick it up in chapter four verse one. The Bible says,
0:30.5	Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples
0:36.4	than John, which, by the way, that is a total
0:39.5	worldly way to look at the ministry of Jesus and John the Baptist. Only the world would pit

1:16.7	And Jesus had to pass through Samaria.
1:20.9	And the question is, did he really have to pass through Samaria?
1:24.8	So he came to the town of Samaria called Sycar near the field that Jacob had given to
1:30.0	his son Joseph. Jacob's well was there. And so Jesus wearied as he was from his journey was sitting
1:35.6	beside the well. It was about the sixth hour. Now, the reason I asked did Jesus have to is because
1:41.4	technically, geographically, to get from where Jesus started to where he's going, he did not have to is because technically, geographically, to get from where Jesus started to where
1:46.3	he's going, he did not have to go through Samaria. Maybe you've heard this before, but the Jews and
1:51.6	Samaritans did not get along. It had to do with things that had happened far in the past,
