It's easy for us to look on the outside and say,

Dave, you've got a problem.

But when you're in it, you don't see it.

I thought my life was over.

Pride, shame, guilt.

You know, I've got a head that's like a washing machine.

It's like 100 miles an hour.

I just wanted to be different. I didn't want to die and I had that internal snap and I just thought I want to change.

I just wanted to never drink again and that was it.

I made a lot of wrong decisions in the first 34 years my life.

So I want to kind of give us a go and that's kind of what recovery's showing me.

This ain't a dress rehearsal what we're doing.

I want to be better.
